SCS Cookbook - Are you a cook or a baker (or love to do both)? We are looking for you! Coming this fall we plan to publish the Saint
Catherine of Siena cookbook and are asking everyone to submit their famous and favorite recipes! You are welcome to submit

HASA Family Directory - We will be rolling out a new process for the
HASA Family Directory for the 2010-2011 year. Continuing our green initiative, information will no longer be collected with
a paper form nor carried over year to year but will need to be entered online. A notice will be emailed to all families as
soon as we open the process. More information to follow! We will be sending email
updates during the summer and will be updating the web site with next year's information. Please be sure to visit!

This is the HASA update for the week of June 13th:

up for the school year, this is the last official HASA email for the 2009-2010 school year. We will continue to send out email
updates over the summer. Please continue to check the site for updates.
Some reminders: SCS Summer Program: Registration is
now open. Three one week sessions, Tue-Friday, 8:30am to noon. Session I July 6-9, Session II July 13-16, Session III July
20-23. For more information about registration, please go to the school website at www.SCSNORWOOD.COM.
SCS Year Book If you would like a copy of the 2009-2010 yearbook, Mrs. Kedzierski has a few books left.
If you would like one, please send a check made payable to Saint Catherine of Siena School in the amount of $25.00 to
the attention Mrs. Kedzierski starting this Tuesday. Orders will be filled on a first come basis. Oversight: The SCS Road Race committee negated to thank Miss Cole and the SCS Brownie troop for their help
at the Road Race last week, belated thank you!
The 2009-2010 HASA committee has officially wrapped up their two year term. We want to thank
everyone for their support over the past two years. The 2010-2011 HASA committee information can be found on the HASA site.
The new co presidents are Silvana Della Camera and Jacqui Yoke. We wish the new HASA team the best and
we hope you continue to support HASA and all the great events and activities they bring to the students.

Hello Everyone:
This
is the HASA update for the week of June 6st
***************************************************************************************** SECOND ANNUAL SCS WALK/RUN SAT: Big thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, walkers and runners who made the event successful!
We were blessed to have the weather hold off for the race. We had over 220 participants and made over $3800!
Additional Notes: Holding his record for the second year in a row, student Danny Farrell crossed the finish
line as the first SCS student- great job!
We also want to thank the following people for their help on race day:
John Farrell, Paula Curley, Father Tony and Monsignor McRae, DJ James Lennon, Kim Sullivan, and the Road Race Committee: Marie
Maloney, Kelly Scuderi, Ann Gallucci, Vicki Zammito, Kathy Ekberg, Carolyn Faherty and Nicole McCarthy. All proceeds from
the road race will be used to by the art teacher supplies and purchase AED/ Defibrillator for the gym and cafeteria. Pictures
from the event will be posted on the HASA site this week and on our Facebook page.

Kindergarten
Graduation: Friday at 9:30am. Congrats to all the kindergartners!
Eighth Grade Graduation: Friday night, starting
with 7pm mass. HASA would like to thank all the 8th graders that have volunteered to help us at past events. We wish all the
graduates a great night and best wishes for High School.
Mrs Gail Duggan: As you all may be aware, Mrs
Duggan is retiring from teaching this Friday. Mrs Duggan has been a member of HASA for many years as the Teacher Representative.
We can not thank her enough for her assistance over the years. Please join us in wishing Mrs Duggan a great, happy retirement!

This
is the HASA update for the week of June 1st:
***************************************************************************************** SECOND ANNUAL SCS WALK/RUN SAT JUNE 5th 9am: Registration is available
online. Family registration is $50. Individual is $20 per person with children under 12 $10 registrations. On
line registration closes FRIDAY June 4th. Race day registration will begin at 730am until 855am, just prior to the start of
the race.
PLEASE NOTE: All race day registration is $25 per person. Donations: looking for
donations for the raffle table. If you or your company has anything to donate or willing to be a sponsor, please email us
at scsroadrace@yahoo.com.
Volunteers: If you want to volunteer,
please contact Kathy at theekbergs@yahoo.com
Family Event! There will be moonwalks, paint facing and music for the kids.
Great raffle table including
a gas grill, New Balance sneakers, restaurant gift cards, local area memberships, etc.
