BINGO would like to remind all families that the summer is a great opportunity to get your volunteer requirement in for the 2009-2010 school year. BINGO is scheduled every Sunday throughout the summer.

BINGO is offering new summer shifts including 1) 4:30-6:30pm 2) 6-8pm 3) 8-10pm in addition to the 4:30-8:30 pm shift.

In addition, BINGO has a number of scheduled positions that you can train for. The typical rotation is every 5 weeks.

These positions will cover ALL your volunteer hours for the school year.

SUNDAY BINGO JOBS open are:

Charity Banker,  4:30-8:30pm. This is behind the scenes job of counting the money. Schedule is every 5 weeks.      

Head Banker 6-10pm. This is behind the scenes job of counting the money and ensuring everything is tied out at the end of the night. Schedule is every 5 weeks.

Bingo Captains 4:30-10pm: This position is 4 times a year. You will be assigned a bingo team ( by grade/class).This responsibility includes managing all facets of the Sunday bingo to include ensuring your team shows up on time, assigning each volunteer to an assignment and explaining what they do, distributing the prize money, maintaining lottery spreadsheets of money allocation, showing volunteers how to do call backs, etc. 

In addition, there are a few positions available that can be performed during the week that replaces Sunday bingo. This includes picking up lottery tickets from the Mass State Lottery in Braintree along  with entering in volunteer hours into a spreadsheet. The Volunteer Hour tracking position is a monthly job that can be done at home. It is usually takes about  2 hours per month to enter in all the bingo volunteer sign in sheets for the month.
