Boy Mother/Someone Special Bowling: Was
a big hit! We had 34 moms and 36 boys enjoying the day! Pictures will be posted on the HASA site later
this week. CANCELLED: March
5th Movie Night: Friday March 5th movie night is cancelled because it is an early release for the students.
GOLF FOR
MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS: Held at Norwood Country Club from 2:45 to 4:30 pm
on April 30, May 7, May 21, May 28 and June 4th. Cost is $104 per student if sign up on line by March 15th. After March 15th,
cost will be $119. Cost includes 5 lessons and transportation.
Open! 2010-2011 HASA Positions: Positions
are available on HASA for the 2010-2011 school year. The positions are two year terms and you will receive volunteer hours.
The detailed job descriptions will be posted on the HASA site in the next few weeks. Silvana Della Camera and Jacqui Yoke
will be leading the committee as Co Presidents. Open positions include: Treasurer,
Secretary, Room Parent Coordinator, Enrichment and Hospitality. Interested? Email ContactUs@scshasa.com for more information. Positions need to be finalized by end
of April so please let us know if you have questions. Matt Brown Day in Norwood March 3rd
Norwood Public Schools will be hosting a Matt Brown day on and SCS will be participating. Dress down day will be
Wednesday March 3rd; minimum donation is $5 per student. All proceeds will go directly to the Matt Brown. Checks can be
made out to “Brownie Pointsâ€. For more information on Matt Brown day, please check the website,

GOLF FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS: Held at Norwood Country Club from 2:45 to 4:30 pm on April 30, May 7, May 21, May 28 and June 4th.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL:
New SCS website is UP and RUNNING! The site is being fined tuned this week and is planned to be fully functional by the end of February.
The site is best viewed in Firefox and Explorer 8. There are links for both at the bottom of the SCS site page. Norwood
Light customers - please note that you may not see the new site as there is currently an issue and they are working to

GIRLS
DANCE THIS PAST SATURDAY: Father/Someone
Special/Dance was a big hit! We had 105 girls attend the event! HASA would like to thank Mrs Harr, Miss Sullivan, Mrs Noah
and Mrs Gorman for their help! We hope all the girls (and their dates) enjoyed themselves! HASA would like to thank Annette
DiIorio for making the beautiful trellis and Marise Fallon for organizing the entire event!
For girls that did
not receive a picture at the dance: HASA will send a copy through the school folders by this Friday. If you do not receive
your picture by Friday, please contact HASA. Also, we will be sending out to those families that attended the event a link
of the pictures. If for some reason you do not want to have your picture included, please notify HASA by Wed and we will delete
your photo before we send out the link.
BOWLING LEAGUE:
DEADLINE MONDAY FEB 8th. Please sign up online! SCS Bowling league for students grades 3, 4, and 5. It will be on Wednesdays,
right after school at the Norwood Sports Center. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up. Season begins Wed Feb 24th
and ends April 14th. Cost is $35 per student.

BOWLING FOR BOYS GRADE K to 5 FEB 28th: Mother/Someone
Special bowling. Sunday, Feb 28th at 11 am in the Norwood Sports Center. Price is $6.00 per person. Price includes shoes,
two strings and light refreshments. Deadline to register will be FRIDAY FEB 12th. Please sign up online.

CATHOLIC SCHOOL/TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK JAN 31-FEB 5th:
FAMILY BREAKFAST: Thank you
for attending! We had over 175 attend the breakfast! Thank you for your support! SCHOLASTIC BOOK WEEK: All this week! Please check the www.ScsHASA.com for the schedule. Wednesday is Family Night from 6-8pm. The 8th grade class will hold its annual bake sale at that time
in the cafeteria. Great time for everyone, come and show your support!
